Dear Park Hill Parents and Guardians,
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete the Family Satisfaction Survey last school year. The information we gathered helps us create classrooms that are vibrant centers of learning, where our caring teachers engage their students in rigorous, culturally responsive experiences so that all children excel. It also helps us ensure that our school is a warm and welcoming environment for every member of our community, and gives us the feedback we need to keep getting better at serving and supporting families.
We use the results of this survey for planning improvement strategies for the upcoming year. If you would like to review our school’s survey results, please visit https://assessments.dpsk12.org/family-student-surveys. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or suggestions you may have.
Ken Burdette, Principal

As a reminder, we ask that students DO NOT ride scooters / bikes / skateboards, etc. on the blacktop between the hours of 7:40 am – 7:55 am and 2:45 pm – 3:00 pm, as this is a SAFETY HAZARD for your student and the other hundreds of people on the blacktop during these times.

KISS AND DROP LANE SUPERVISORS & CROSSING GUARDS NEEDED
Parent Supervisors for our Kiss & Drop lane are vital in making sure our students can get to campus safely. Thank you to the parents of Mr. Ash’s class for providing supervision for the 5th Grade Safety Patrol next week. We will also need crossing guard volunteers on Elm St. for the time being. We can provide training! Have you signed up to be your class’s Parent Supervisor or Crossing Guard yet? (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409084CABA723A57-parent8)
GREATER PARK HILL FOOD BANK
GPHC will be continuing the weekend food program this school year, in an effort to reduce food insecurity for students and provide additional nutritional support to help them be successful at school. The program provides a bag of food consisting of two breakfasts, two snacks, and at least two lunch items, including a fruit and a vegetable. Bags will be delivered to Park Hill Elementary on Tuesdays for distribution to children on Tuesdays at the end of the school day.
Every student at Park Hill Elementary is able to participate in the program. We only require a parent/guardian signature on the parent/guardian consent form to enroll in our program. Any family with a student at Park Hill Elementary may opt in or out of the program as they wish.
**Go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040a4dabab2da75-park1 to volunteer to help ensure food bags get delivered to the school so our kids can take them home!
