Panther Pages, February 18, 2022

We are happy to note that we are seeing very few Covid cases in the school. We are all hopeful this trend continues at Park Hill and throughout the community.  Please know we will continue to recommend mask usage and practice good hygiene and social distancing as we have throughout the year.

The Annual Park Hill Auction is next Friday.  The PTSA and many volunteers have put a tremendous amount of effort into making this a fun, impactful event for our school. We hope everyone can come out and enjoy this special event that directly benefits all of our students!

Healthy Start Times – Impacts to Park Hill

Many of you have likely seen communications from DPS about possible changes to start times beginning in the 2023 school year.  We strongly encourage families to learn more about the proposed changes.  These changes are driven by studies recommending later start times for adolescent aged children.  DPS is looking to align middle & high school start times to support these findings.  Proposed changes within several of the proposed options include earlier start times for elementary schools (as early as 7:30am) and elimination of most bus services for certain schools, including Park Hill.  Families are encouraged to complete the DPS survey below to note how these changes could impact their family, students, and enrollment decisions.
