8:10-8:30  Morning Meeting

8:30-9:30  Literacy

9:30-10:05  Responsive Inst.

10:05-10:20  Break

10:20-11:00   Literacy

11:00-11:20   Lunch

11:20-11:45   Recess

11:45-12:00   Read Aloud

12:00-12:20   Number Corner

12:20-1:20   Math

1:20 - 2:10   Specials

2:10-3:00   SCI/SS

3:00- 3:10   Dismissal

 

How much homework will I have?

30+ minutes of reading, practice multiplication facts, optional math pages

 

What do I need to bring to school?

School supplies, water bottle, backpack, healthy snack, headphones
 

What will I learn this year?

Colorado history, literacy skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, science

 

Who should I talk to if I have a question or concern, and how do I contact them?

Contact their teacher first for academic concerns and behavior

Contact the office for attendance, early pick up, etc

 

We will have buddies with kindergarten or 1st graders once a week

We will have “Student of the Week”

 

Smartwatches and phones are not allowed in the classroom. If it becomes a problem, the child/device will be sent to the office
