Happy Friday Park Hill Families,
A few notes with the nicer weather… Please take a moment to label your student’s jackets, sweatshirts, etc. We are finding more and more discarded items throughout the school and most are ending up in the lost and found because we don’t know the owner.
Additionally, we are happy to see more students riding/rolling to school and using the school bike racks. Please be a role model to students and use the crosswalks, drive safely, and leave a few minutes early if you are planning to drive. Please thank our crossing guard, Nicole, and kiss-and-drop staff member, Ms Jenna, and her 5th grade team for their hard work this winter!

School Beautification project this Earth Day
Getting Involved This Earth Day is as Easy as Coming to School!
Bring the whole family out on Saturday, April 22nd from 10:30am - 1:30 pm for our school’s Earth Day School Beautification Project. This year we will focus on improving the outdoor spaces on the South side of the school - PHE’s “backyard” - and we need your help to make our big, audacious dreams come true! We have trees & shrubs that need planting, mulch that needs spreading, and overgrown sections that need weeding. This project is BIG and will make an immediate impact on our already beautiful school.
How can you help? Sign up to volunteer and/or bring a plant the day of here.
Bring your shovels, garden trowels, and wheelbarrows. We need a lot of volunteers, so make our project your Earth Day contribution this year!
“We want a shrubbery! One that looks nice… and not too expensive.”
Have no idea what we are talking about? Get your Monty Python quote refresher here. In all seriousness, we do have a wishlist of shrubberies and we hope you will consider buying one to help out. The more we can collect, the more of an impact we can make.
