Happy Friday PHE Families:
On behalf of our teachers and staff, I would like to thank everyone for all of the kind notes, snacks and flowers we have received this week! These gestures really make our staff feel appreciated and is a part of what makes working at PHE feel special.
We would like to take a moment and recognize our team members who will be retiring at the end of the school year. Please join us in thanking the following team members for their years of service to PHE and to education as a whole: Lynn Pravecek (Art Teacher), Bernadette Miller (Kindergarten Teacher), Carol Burtness (Speech Therapy), Jan Rudeen (ParaProfessional), and Pat Blanke (ParaProfessional). We wish you all the best in retirement! If you would like to write a note of well wishes, please deliver those to Ms. Bixby (or the office) by May 28th. As a note to families, we have successfully rehired these positions for next year.
-Ken Burdette, Principal
Early Bird Registration open now
Please take a moment to complete Early Bird registration for your student(s), if you haven’t done so already. Registration is the annual process of providing and updating student and family information on file, including emergency contacts, health information and more. Registration can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record. Registration is mandatory for all families. Thank you to the families that have completed this at this time!
Bike to School Day - Thank you for your support
We counted nearly 300 bicycles at school and that doesn’t count all of the students that walked or scooted to school. Thanks parents for taking the time to support this endeavor, and we hope students will continue to bike going forward (and the 5th grade sustainability committee has a few more prizes on the way for students who didn’t get one before we ran out)!
A Wrinkle in Time Performance
The Panther Players present their spring 2024 production of “A Wrinkle in Time” on Wednesday, May 22nd at 6:30 PM. Along the way, Meg might just find herself too. Use this link to RSVP for tickets: A Wrinkle in Time - RSVP Link

Reminder: New Attendance System for 2024-25
Next year we will be implementing a new Attendance system that the district rolled out last year. We encourage parents to start using the system now, but the Google Form on the Park Hill website will still be active for the remainder of the year.
We’ve found that the mobile app is the easiest way for families to access the attendance system. Here is a quick guide on how to get this setup for the first time on your mobile device. Note: This attendance system should work for other DPS schools and also gives access to grades and student related items. Please take a moment to get the app setup on your phone now so you’re ready to use it when needed!
